Dual enrollment, another pathway to college credit before high school graduation, means students are enrolled in college classes separate from their high school enrollment. Students, age 16 and older, may enroll in a Kishwaukee College course after meeting any prerequisites and receive college credit apart from their regular high school classes. Dual enrollment courses take place on campus and students pay full tuition. Students should check with their high school counselor to see if the courses they complete can also be counted for high school credit which would then be considered dual credit. To enroll, a student would complete the student information form online, and then to register, complete the high school permission/registration form and turn it into Student Services (C2100).
