KC students make “soup-er” donation

The Alpha Rho Eta chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at Kishwaukee College held a “Soup-er Lunch” on campus in December and donated the proceeds to Hope Haven and the DeKalb County Animal Welfare League (Shelter) this spring. The donation to Hope Haven was a follow-up to a Holiday party the chapter threw for families at Hope Haven in December. Each organization received $75 from the students’ soup-making efforts.
