The Kishwaukee College office at the Illinois workNet Center provides:
- college information and referral
- financial aid forms
- basic computer literacy classes and computer lab times
- a math for employment class
- a link, in DeKalb, to Kishwaukee College services and information
- GED and ESL class information
- job search assistance through individual and group activities
- referrals for financial assistance for training through the Workforce Investment Act
The Math for Employment Class is for anyone who needs improved math skills for employment, or preparation for assessment testing or pre-employment tests. The focus is on fractions, decimals, percentages, and other basic math skills. No pre-registration is required and there is no charge.

The Basic Computer Literacy Class is for anyone who has minimal computer experience and who needs computer skills in order to improve their career options, be a more effective employee, or seek employment more effectively. The focus is on mouse usage, accessing programs and the Internet, and simple word processing.
Kishwaukee College works closely with other Illinois workNet Center partners including First Institute Training and Management, Experience Works, and The River Valley Workforce Investment Board.
